Elizabeth Ackroyd is a leading neurological speech and language therapist with over 23 years of clinical and medico-legal experience. She provides high-quality expert witness reports for both adults and children with complex acquired neurological conditions, including catastrophic brain injury, stroke, and disorders of consciousness.

She is routinely instructed in cases involving personal injury, clinical negligence, capacity, fitness to practise, and breach of duty. Her current instruction profile is approximately 75% claimant, 15% defence, and 10% joint instruction. She has provided expert opinion for the National Crime Agency and serves as an advisor to NICE and the Wellcome Trust.
